GDY-II Series Acousto-Optic High Voltage Electroscope (10 / 35 / 110 kV)

Voltage detection you can hear and see: the GDY-II indicates live conductors with a high-decibel acoustic alarm and a super-bright LED simultaneously, so the result is unambiguous even in bright daylight or noisy substations. Instant self-test: pressing the self-test button confirms the instrument is functioning before every use, which is the check that portable voltage detectors are normally required to pass at the start of a shift. Telescopic construction: the fiberglass-reinforced epoxy resin rod extends to reach overhead conductors, keeping the operator at the distance the voltage level requires while the whole instrument collapses for transport and storage. Series coverage: the GDY / GDY-II family covers the voltage classes used in distribution and transmission work, including 0.1-10 kV, 6 kV, 10 kV, 27.5 kV for railway catenary, 35 kV, 66 kV and 110 kV. Working range: rated for continuous use from -25 degrees C to +55 degrees C, which covers outdoor substation and line work in most climates. Built for line crews: the housing and rod are designed for one-handed operation with gloves, and the instrument is supplied ready for daily field use with no separate accessories required.
