Aluminum Flood Defence Board — Detachable Water Barrier

A detachable flood defence board that closes off a doorway, garage entrance, basement or wall opening when water is expected, and comes away again once the risk has passed. Aluminum alloy panels, 40 mm thick, slot into wall-mounted posts. Each panel covers 20 cm of height, and both height and width are made to the opening, so the barrier follows the doorway instead of being adapted to it. The seal is the point of the design. A screw-tightened compression system presses the panels against a waterproof rubber sealing strip, so the seal tightens under load rather than relying on the weight of the board alone. The yellow and black strip is reflective, so the barrier stays visible at night and in an underpass or basement where lighting is poor. Straightforward to install: drill both walls, secure the posts with the expansion bolts supplied, and measure wall to wall with a tolerance of ± 3 mm. Expansion bolts and a hex key are included with every set. Typical applications: subway entrance and exit, window sill, underground garage, shop entrance, underpass, garage entrance.
