Description
Overvoltage protection for low-voltage installations: the HY 15W-05/26 diverts switching and lightning-induced surges away from switchgear, transformer windings and control equipment before they reach insulation.
Metal-oxide element: the zinc oxide varistor block has the non-linear characteristic that makes an arrester self-restoring after each operation, with no gap to wear or re-seal.
Silicone rubber housing: the one-piece silicone rubber shed provides the creepage distance and the contamination performance needed in outdoor substation and industrial environments.
Compact and directly mountable: the small envelope suits switchgear cubicles, ring main units and pole-mounted transformer installations where space is limited.
Model options: supplied as the HY 15W-05/26 type, with the HY15W-028-13 type available for lower nominal voltages.
Application: switchgear, transformer substations, and low-voltage distribution equipment protection.
