Portable Earthing Wire Set with Spiral & Alligator Clamps

This set is built around the clamp, not the wire. A spiral clamp clamps onto a bare overhead conductor without a prepared terminal, and an alligator clip attaches to a flat lug, a busbar edge or a terminal stud. Both come on the same set, so one kit covers the conductor end and the ground end of the same job, with a braided nylon rope for throwing the clamp over a line or suspending the lead clear of the structure. The conductor is fine-stranded copper in a transparent PVC sheath, in 25 mm² or 35 mm², so the strand bundle is visible along its whole length — a sheath you can see through is how a crew checks for a broken strand or corrosion without stripping the lead. Lengths run 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 12 and 15 m, and the set is ordered by matching the length to the span and the cross-section to the fault current, not to the voltage class alone. A double-hole copper terminal with a hydraulic crimp and a heat-shrink sleeve closes the other end, and the set is packed in a carton at roughly 3–7 kg depending on the length. Voltage classes cover 35, 66, 110, 220, 330, 550, 750 and 1000 kV for overhead line and substation use; the clamp style is chosen by whether the connection point is a bare conductor or a bolted terminal.
